1.
In the case that two datum planes of the base are ground precisely to
the same accuracy as the rail track;
- Mount the master rail track with the slide
unit on the bed and slightly tighten the fixing bolts. Before installing
it, wipe off all dust and apply a little oil to each datum plane
location where contact is made.
- First, fix the set screws and tighten them.
Then, securely tighten the fixing bolts on the rail track located
opposite the set screws. Continue the procedures from middle to
left or right alternately, and repeat the hand work of tightening
the set screws and fixing bolts in good order. When the tightening
torque of the bolt is 10.9(strength section), follow the data in
the table.
- Mounting the other rail track with the slide
unit finishes the installation of the rail track. If knock pin location
is required, it should be done at this stage.
- Position each slide unit at proper intervals
before mounting the table, and then tighten the fixing bolts slightly.
Tighten the set screws of slide unit and position the table making
the datum plane of slide units contact with the lateral datum plane
of the table. Then, securely tighten the fixing bolts by designated
torque.
- Securely tighten the fixing bolts of the
slide units on the other rail track.
2. When only
one side of the datum plane of the base is ground to the same accuracy
as the datum plane of the rail track;
- Make use of installation procedure recommended
for mounting a master rail track on the bed.
- Mount the other rail track on the base and
slightly tighten the fixing bolts.
- Securely tighten the fixing bolts using a
measuring apparatus as shown in below, starting from the center
of the rail track and progressing, one at a time, outward until
all bolts are tightened.
- Make use of the installation procedure recommended for mounting
the slide unit to the table.
